Emphasizing how new technologies continue to impact post-production, this course provides an overview of the post-production pipeline from budgeting through delivery and beyond. Class topics include a step-by-step overview of each stage of the process and building the post-production team: assistant editors, editors, audio mixers, composers, sound-designers, visual effects artists, dubbing, and post-production management. The latest trends in post-production are covered as told through weekly interviews with industry professionals. In this course you will learn: • The different stages of the post production process and fully grasp how each stage impacts the film/television production process. • The vocabulary of the field, which will better prepare them for being involved in film production at any stage.
