In this high intermediate Portuguese course, participants will learn Portuguese through the medium of Brazilian music, food, and film. While there will be some reading and writing in the course, the main focus will be on listening, speaking and relevant vocabulary. Grammar and pronunciation will be addressed as needs arise. Students will develop and practice these skills through lessons on popular songs, traditional meals, and scenes from popular Brazilian cinema.
Note: This course is recommended for students who have taken Portuguese for Comminication IV or V, or the equivalent.
