American Sign Language IV

This course is an introduction to intermediate skills in developing production and comprehension skills in American Sign Language (ASL).  Students will learn ASL vocabulary, structure, and grammar.  Course content also includes the manual alphabet and numbers. Students will continue to refine their conversational abilities, culturally appropriate behaviors, and learn about the culture and history of Deaf communities.

  He is an avid world traveler who holds a graduate degree in Bilingual Education with an emphasis on American Sign Language and English from UC San Diego. He graduated from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., the only higher education institution that is designated to educate the Deaf and Hard of Hearing pupils.
