November 2014 — The unemployment rate in San Diego followed the local weather recently, with a slight decrease in unemployment as well as the temperature.
The San Diego Workforce Partnership reported that San Diego’s unemployment rate decreased from 5.9% to 5.8% during October. The civilian unemployment rate remained constant, while the civilian labor force increased.
Month to month, more jobs were jobs added in most major industries, with the Government sector having the largest gain, and Leisure & Hospitality having the biggest decline.
