Suzanne Sanders teaches
Grammar Lab,
Copyediting I,
Copyediting II, and
Copyediting III for
UC San Diego Extension's Copyediting Certificate Program. She has more than 20 years of experience in many areas of the editing field. Most recently, she was an assistant professor of English, co-chair of the English department and faculty adviser for the student newspaper at Wilbur Wright College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago. She has taught English composition, literature and journalism since 2001 at Wright, DePaul University’s School for New Learning, Columbia College, Dominican University and Triton College. She earned her MA in English from DePaul University and her BA in English from Northern Illinois University. Previously, she was an editor for two business-to-business magazines in Chicago and continues to freelance occasionally, mainly covering culture, entertainment, education and business issues.
