Fatemeh Fazely holds a BS degree in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University and an MS in Biology and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Akron. She has completed two post-doctoral fellowships in maternal transmission of HIV, one at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School followed by a second one at the University of California, Davis.
She has a keen interest in science education and in promoting the development of scientific thinking applicable to one’s personal and professional life. Her teaching experience includes a wide range of delivery methods, and she has been teaching various subjects in biology and chemistry since graduate school.
