Bryce Besser is the Senior Litigation Analyst at UC San Diego. In this role, Mr. Besser combines his legal background and practical experience to help reduce UCSD's exposure to employment related and general liability claims. He also assists in the defense of claims brought against the campus and provides general risk management guidance to campus departments.
Prior to coming to UC San Diego, Mr. Besser was a practicing attorney, first in the area of complex environmental litigation, and then at Brown Law Group, where he represented clients in the defense of various employment law claims including discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Mr. Besser also counseled clients in trade secrets litigation, contracts disputes, various tort disputes, property, confidentiality and corporate compliance issues, and student loan lending disputes involving the FDCPA, FCRA, and state law equivalents.
Mr. Besser received his B.A. in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from California Western School of Law, receiving honors distinctions in both. In his spare time, Bryce enjoys football, photography, music, and movies. He serves on the UC San Diego Staff Association, the San Diego Youth Symphony Board of Directors, and mentors students and professionals aspiring to reach their academic, professional, and personal goals.
