Persian Rug History and Appreciation

Featured Speaker: Saeid Labbafi

Presenter: Saeid Labbafi has an advanced diploma in auto-mechanic engineering, but he decided to carry on his family’s rug business. He was born and raised in Tehran until he was 25. He moved to Singapore, opening rug shops there, and finally to the U.S., where he started the La Jolla Rug Company. He is passionate about educating people to better understand the values of this beautiful artwork more than simply looking at them as floor mats.
