Acting Workshops

These summer sessions of Theatre World’s Innovations will address story and character development with guest artists and hands-on writing exercises. No experience is necessary to begin this process and all are welcome. Writing materials will be supplied. Later workshops in the autumn will address beginning middle and end of participants’ plays, as well as formatting and finishing the short (3-7 minute) plays for performance in early 2027. In order to have plays performed in 2027, writers need to be Osher members, attend at least two of the workshop sessions and develop entirely new plays on the basis of this process. The deadlines for submitting will be in late autumn, Performances will be produced as part of Osher Theatre World with some surprise guest artists directing.
