Speaker Bio
Presenter: Eddie Goldberg’s interest in the
American presidents began at Cornell University,
where he majored in American studies. His dream
was to be a history teacher. Following his father’s
strong advice, however, he soon found himself in
medical school and practiced internal medicine for
over 30 years. Since retirement, he has been able
to return to his love of American history, spending
much of his time pursuing his interests at the
Osher programs at Brandeis and UC San Diego.
His book Presidential Health Matters is based
on his 2023 Osher lecture series of the same title.
