the most commonly prescribed, the different classes,
how they are helpful in treating different diseases,

Speaker Bio
Presenter: After graduating from Yale Medical
School and pursuing his internship and residency
in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky
Medical Center, Dr. Kaplan completed his
rheumatology fellowship, including research in
rheumatoid arthritis and lupus at Scripps Clinic
and Research Foundation. Dr. Kaplan has been
a practicing rheumatologist for over 40 years in
San Diego. He specializes in treating rheumatoid
arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing
spondylitis, as well as connective tissue diseases
such as lupus, vasculitis and other auto immune
diseases. He is a former Chief of Rheumatology at
Mercy Hospital.
