Featured Speaker: Peter Rowe, MS
Usually sober and often engaging, Peter Rowe will discuss everything you always wanted to know about beer — including ales vs. lagers, the world’s weirdest beers, those zany Belgian brews, the tastiest Mexican lagers, the secret sauce behind San Diego’s craft beer success — but were afraid to ask. In his 36 years at the San Diego Union and Union-Tribune, Rowe was a features editor, lifestyle columnist, food critic, film reviewer, and senior enterprise reporter. Despite all this, Rowe may be best known as the Union-Tribune’s beer writer.
