ProTools I: Introduction to Audio Production

An introduction to audio production techniques. In this course, students will learn to record and digitize sound and apply it for audio enhancement of their productions. Students will also learn how to produce audio effects and transitions. After completing the course, students will be able to identify basic types of microphones, set up mics to record voice, examine sound/image relationships to select suitable audio, match audio effects with specific visual images, use audio to create mood in transitions, integrate and adjust levels in mix of voice, effects and music, and more.
