Designed for beginners, this engaging course will equip students with essential
vocabulary and phrases to navigate common situations while exploring Italy. Lessons
include practical dialogues for greetings, ordering food, asking for directions, and
more. This course offers a first approach to the Italian language-helping students
recognize Italian words, understand useful phrases, and develop a feel for how the

Thomas Malone was born in Rome, Italy, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. He currently teaches Italian language courses at San Diego Oasis and offers private tutoring for adult learners of all levels throughout the San Diego area.
