A Little Help Goes a Long Way

Our scholarships are a fantastic way for students to get full access to Futures programs including the internship experience. Currently, we offer scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis to individuals interested in pursuing one of our programs. Awardees will be granted no-charge enrollment to one cohort of three courses. This page will always have the most up to date information regarding scholarship availability and application instructions. Currently, scholarships are being awarded based on the below criteria:

  • Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first served basis.
  • An approved scholarship will cover the cost of the entire program.
  • An approved scholarship does not cover the cost of required textbooks. Please see section details for textbook information.
  • You choose your preferred format within the scholarship application.

About Futures

Though similar to existing UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies certificates, Futures provides high school students the direct opportunity to participate in courses and programs that not only provide them with real-world skills, but also opportunities for internships, professional employment, and educational advancement. In addition, parents/guardians have the opportunity to take these courses alongside their students strengthening the sense of community and pride within the family unit. Futures is designed for all high school students.
