Claire Wyckoff is a writer, editor, and coach, specializing in business and professional books. For several years, Claire held senior positions with the American Management Association, including Publisher of the association’s book division. After leaving the AMA she worked in print, ebook, and online publishing fields. During this time, she also taught editing at NYU.
The books Claire has authored or ghostwritten include
Top Careers in Two Years: The Arts, and
Top Careers in Two Years: Technology, (both Facts on File, 2007) and
The Right Leader (Wiley, 2009),
Becoming an Effective Executive Coach (AMACOM, 2011), and
Opinions Throughout History: Social Media (Grey House, 2018). She has also published articles on executive selection in journals such as
Forbes, Chief Executive, and
HR.com.
Claire holds a BA in history from Mount Holyoke College and an MA in education from NYU, where she also completed her course work in technology and management. She has been a director of the National Council of Teachers of English, the Children’s Book Council, the Lower Eastside Center, and the New York Junior League. She teaches
Copyediting III for the
Copyediting Certificate Program.
